DATE DROPS

2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. margarine
1/2 black dates, finely cut
1 1/2 c. crisp rice cereal
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine eggs, margarine, and dates. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add cereal, nuts, and vanilla. Cool. Shape into balls. Makes 42 cookies.
